Prearrangement Transfers

Many people ask about transferring their existing funeral prearrangements from one funeral service provider to another.

Any Prearranged funeral plan (Family Side, Assurant Life, Purple Shield, Funeral Plans Canada, or Trust Accounts) may be transferred from one funeral service provider to another.  With Trust Accounts the existing funeral provider may retain a 15% administration fee if a transfer is requested.  This fee is usually covered by the new funeral home in their professional services fee so as to not cost the family any extra funds.

If you have any questions regarding transfers please call us today at 403.652.4242 or email info@lylereeves.com .

Where Will We Have The Service?

The most common question we are asked is: "If you don't have a chapel at your facility where will the service be?"  A completely valid question.

Traditional Service at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church
One of our primary goals right now is to grow our business which will allow us to construct a new modern facility in order to better serve our customers.  Until that time we have made agreements with many facilities in the area in order to provide the services people expect from a funeral home.  The church venues listed below do not require the family to be a member of the church.  If the family is a member of a church, this is usually the chosen venue for the service.  The rental cost of these facilities is also covered in our professional services fee, this is not an additional expense for the family.

Clicking on the above link will take you to our website where you will find a list and description of the facilities we work together with.  Some of these facilities include:
  • High River Full Gospel Church
  • High River United Church
  • Highwood Memorial Centre
  • Highwood Golf & Country Club
  • Carlson's On Macleod
  • Shepard Family Park
Please call if you have any questions on our services and how we promise to make every step of this experience easy for the family.
